It’s a fact: our trees are under attack. According to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), we lose 18.7 million acres of forests annually, equivalent to 27 soccer fields every minute.* This is largely due to Earth’s growing population and demand for consumer goods.
Enter hemp. It can slow this cycle by replacing trees as a raw material for wood and paper. While trees take years to mature, hemp can be grown in months. Even better, just one acre of hemp can produce as much paper annually as four acres of trees.
Seems like a no-brainer. If you’re on board with saving some trees, give this post a like!
